Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
1. Statement of Intent
Flodraulic Europe S.r.l. recognises digital accessibility as an essential element in ensuring an inclusive, clear and user-friendly browsing experience for the broadest possible number of users, regardless of their individual abilities or the technologies they use.
The company is committed to progressively improving the accessibility of the website flodrauliceurope.com by adopting technical and organisational solutions based on the principles set out in Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004, the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard. The company also takes into account the principles introduced by Directive (EU) 2019/882, known as the European Accessibility Act, transposed into Italian law through Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022.
This statement describes the accessibility status of the website flodrauliceurope.com, any currently known limitations, the monitoring and continuous improvement activities implemented by Flodraulic Europe S.r.l., and the methods through which users may report accessibility issues or request assistance relating to digital accessibility.
2. Compliance Status
The website flodrauliceurope.com is partially compliant with the requirements set out in the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA due to the non-compliance issues listed below.
The identified issues do not prevent users from accessing the website’s main content, but may limit the use of specific features through assistive technologies.
Partial compliance was determined on the basis of an accessibility audit conducted on 11/05/2026, including an automated analysis using Google Lighthouse and manual tests performed with assistive technologies, such as keyboard-only navigation, the VoiceOver screen reader on macOS and iOS, and NVDA on Windows. The audit was carried out in accordance with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA criteria.
The audit was conducted on the English-language version of the website, which is its primary version. The technical accessibility barriers described in this statement relate to the shared theme and templates and are therefore also present in a similar manner on the Italian- and German-language versions of the website.
3. Non-accessible Content
The content listed below is not accessible due to non-compliance with Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004. The description is provided in non-technical language, with reference to the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria that are not currently met.
3.1 Non-compliance with Applicable Legislation
Heading structure on the Privacy Policy page (WCAG criterion 1.3.1 — Info and Relationships).
On the Privacy Policy page, some text elements serving as section headings are formatted as bold text rather than as heading elements. Users who rely on screen readers cannot reach these sections using heading navigation tools. As a result, the logical structure of the document, which is extensive and organised into numbered sections, is flattened.
Empty section headings (WCAG criterion 1.3.1 — Info and Relationships).
Several website pages and shared templates contain heading elements without any textual content. Screen readers nevertheless announce them as headings, creating navigation elements that do not lead to any content and may disorient users.
Landmark structure (WCAG criterion 1.3.1 — Info and Relationships).
Some content blocks, particularly the call-to-action sections displayed at the bottom of several pages and the reCAPTCHA anti-spam widget, are not included within the semantic regions, or landmarks, of the page. This reduces navigation efficiency for users who rely on screen-reader landmark navigation features.
Editorial widget on the Home and News pages (WCAG criteria 1.4.3 — Contrast Minimum and 1.4.1 — Use of Color).
The Home and News pages include a third-party widget displaying content published by the company on LinkedIn. Within this widget, several links and buttons do not meet the required minimum contrast ratio, and one link can be identified only by its colour. As this component is provided by an external supplier, corrective action requires changes to the widget settings or its replacement.
3.2 Disproportionate Burden
No cases of non-compliance due to disproportionate burden are currently declared pursuant to Article 3-ter of Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.
3.3 Third-party Components
The website includes a third-party component, namely the LinkedIn content aggregation widget used on the Home and News pages. Some of its accessibility features cannot be directly controlled by the service provider, as the component is supplied by an external provider.
Mitigation measures are currently being assessed, including the review of the widget settings, the application of corrective style rules or the replacement of the component with the direct publication of editorial content on the website.
4. Preparation of the Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on 28/05/2026. The assessment methodology involved a combination of automated analyses using scanning tools, including Google Lighthouse, and manual testing with assistive technologies, specifically:
-
complete keyboard-only navigation of the website, including checks on the tab order and the visibility of the focus indicator;
-
testing with the VoiceOver screen reader on macOS and iOS;
-
testing with the NVDA screen reader on Windows.
The analysis was conducted on a representative sample of website pages, including the homepage, the Group page, sector pages, the Services page, the Applications section, the editorial section, legal pages and the 404 error page.
Technical documentation relating to the website’s accessibility testing and monitoring activities is retained by the service provider.
This statement will be reviewed annually and whenever substantial changes to the website — whether structural, functional, technological or layout-related — may affect compliance with accessibility requirements.
